German Media Prize

German Media Prize

The German Media Prize was established in 1992 by Media Control, in order to create a special award encompassing all political interests and media conglomerates, for personalities, that had a profound influence on society or politics. The winner is determined by a broad survey carried out by Media Control. Editors-in-chief of the largest and most influential media in Germany are surveyed.

Barack Obama, George Clooney, Angela Merkel, Nelson Mandela and many more have already celebrated with us at the Get Together of the German Media Prize!

All winners and laudators have immortalized themselves on golden panels, which adorn the wall behind the table at which the winners of the prize enjoy the evening and the party after the award ceremony.
